About this product

The Faber-Castell 6 Drawing Pencil Set is a professional-grade collection designed for versatile artistic applications, including sketching, shading, hatching, and detailed illustrations. This specific "Black Matt 1111" set typically contains six graded graphite pencils in varying degrees of hardness, commonly ranging from 2B to 8B or HB to 10B. Each pencil features a high-quality, homogenous graphite lead that is securely bonded to its non-fibrous wooden barrel through a special process, making it highly break-resistant and durable during use and sharpening. The pencils are distinguished by their classic hexagonal shape, which provides a comfortable and firm grip for precision work while preventing them from rolling off surfaces. Their barrels are finished with an elegant, environmentally friendly black matt lacquer that is phthalate-free, ensuring safety for all ages. Designed to offer a smooth, scratch-free drawing experience, these pencils allow for seamless blending and a wide range of tonal values, making them an ideal tool for both beginners and experienced artists.
