Faber-Castell Watercolor Pencil Set, 48 Vibrant Water-Soluble Colors with Free Paint Brush for Artists and Beginners.

About this product

This set features 48 Faber-Castell Watercolor Pencils presented in a vibrant red cardboard box, designed for artists, students, and hobbyists. The pencils are known for their water-soluble leads that transform into brilliant watercolor paint with the simple application of a wet brush. Each pencil is crafted with soft, richly pigmented cores that offer smooth color laydown, making them suitable for both detailed dry drawing and expressive wet painting techniques. The packaging highlights key features such as high break resistance, achieved through a special secural bonding (SV) process that glues the lead to the wooden barrel for the entire length. This design minimizes lead breakage during sharpening and use. Additionally, the set includes a free paintbrush inside, allowing users to immediately experiment with blending, gradients, and unique watercolor effects. The wood used is sourced from certified sustainable forestry, and the pencils are non-toxic, making them a safe choice for children and adults alike.
